Our Mission
The mission of the Greater Hampton Roads HIV Health Service Planning
Council is to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of medical
and support services to persons infected and affected by HIV disease
in the Norfolk Transitional Grant Area (TGA).
GUIDING PRINCIPLES

The Greater
Hampton Roads HIV Health Services Planning Council is dedicated to developing
and maintaining a continuum of care:

Encourage collaboration with professionals, people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWH/A)
and those impacted by the disease.

Develop a Needs
Assessment and a Comprehensive Plan in order to assess the needs for services
and establish priorities for the allocation of Ryan White HIV/AIDS
Modernization Act of 2006 funding.

Assess the
efficiency of the administrative mechanism.

Demonstrate
an ongoing commitment to the principles of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS
Modernization Act of 2006 and to
those impacted by HIV disease.
Our Vision
We envision that all
persons living with HIV disease in the Norfolk TGA
will have access to comprehensive medical care and or support services
